About Mozart
Mozart does the work companies have with other organizations: the requests, claims, submissions and payments that go out, and the answers that must come back.
The role
You’ll work alongside our customers’ finance and operations teams to get Mozart running on their real work. You’ll learn how their counterparties behave, connect the systems the work lives in, and turn what you see into product, so each new customer is faster to set up than the last.
What you’ll own
- Getting each new customer live: connecting their inboxes, accounting systems, portals and files, and checking the first results with them
- The integrations and scripts a deployment needs, written so the next customer can reuse them
- Working out how each counterparty behaves, its rules, forms, deadlines and habits, and recording it so Mozart learns it once
- Running the first weeks of real work with the customer’s team and fixing what gets in the way
- Bringing what you learn back to the product, and building it in yourself where it makes sense
About you
- 2+ years shipping production software, some of it in front of customers
- Strong in TypeScript and/or Python, SQL, and working with APIs and messy files
- Comfortable on a call with a finance team one hour and in the code the next
- A clear writer who can explain what went wrong and what happens next
- Happy to travel to customers when the work needs it
Nice to have
Accounting systems, ERPs or EDI; browser automation; building with LLMs in production; prior forward deployed, solutions or implementation engineering.
Details
Full-time, NYC (in person preferred), with travel to customers.
